In the astral void of reality there is a black hole. It is a sphere none dare venture in. Nothing comes out of it either. When prodded about it, goblins demand that you never ask again. Questioning dragons will get you killed on the spot. Even the gods turn their gaze away from such an inquiry. Herein lies the answer.

Within the sphere lie stretches of pastoral land, marked by long rivers and vast fields where boxen graze. There is the occasional village friendly elders willing to lend an ear, and happy children playing about. While wandering about in this bucolic paradise, the rare visitor might stumble into one of four temples, each containing a giant crystal floating in midair over a chasm.
These are soul bombs, and they are holding this sphere hostage.
It all began when Shilheax, Emperor-Beyond-the-Sky, descended upon the land. He was an imperfect dragon, seeking shelter from the vain brethren seeking his demise. Shilheax found a barren wasteland, so he seeded it with his light. From the light emerged a spire, and from the spire grew Undren, the Gleaming City of Whispers.
Undern was said to be the cradle of civilization. The people were content, and the world flourished. Humanity was reaching the pinnacle of culture with the help of the Emperor-Beyond-the-Sky. However, this would not last, as Shilheax, growing bored with his creation, chose six men to inherit his will before going to a millenia-long sleep.
Rashid Hulmere would inherit the Scale, symbol of trade.
Zidane Gonemais would inherit the Wing, symbol of science.
Chandra Asamyr would inherit the Fang, symbol of history.
Abiola Yrmigar would inherit the Eye, symbol of art.
Finally, the bastard Renaius would inherit the Claw, the symbol of law.
The other men refused to acknowledge Renaius’s authority, and thus started the First Blood War. It was five years of brutality, scarring humanity and shaking it to the core. The conflict ended when Hiricomvor, son of Renaius, opened a rift that would swallow the dissident armies.
The following peace was uneasy, but long. One day, a golden barge shot from the sky and crashed into Undern. Out came Amina Dobulgrada, a woman claiming to be from a fringe noble family of Troika. She bore the Heart of Yah-Sei-Sol, the Dragon Prince of Tturvlum. Thus she was made into a Lady of Undern.
Over the years, the Dobulgrada family spawned many children, many talented, all mad. One such child was Olmus Dobulgrada, may he suffer eternally. A cleric named <REDACTED> loved Olmus Dobulgrada (may he suffer eternally) to the point of begging for his hand in marriage. This heresy started the Second Blood War. The war ended in three months when Olmus Dobulgrada (may he suffer eternally) was forced to commit ritual suicide in front of the entire city.
The Third Blood War started barely a score later when Sai Renaius was found fellating Rimeel Dobulgrada, son of Olmus Dobulgrada (may he suffer eternally) and <REDACTED>. The war lasted for a scant week when Rimeel demonstrated his soul bombs by detonating one.
In the aftermath of the war, Undern hid from the rest of the world by retreating into the light from whence it came. Despite this, it is common knowledge among the people that one can access the Gleaming City of Whispers by uttering the holy name of <REDACTED> as if you were their lover.
