Some Troika! Shit

Character Creation Without RNG

  • Start with 6 Skill. You may reduce Skill by 1 to gain 2 points in an Advanced Skill. You may do this twice.
  • Start with 24 maximum Stamina and 7 maximum Luck. You may reduce your maximum Stamina by 2 to gain 1 maximum Luck. You may do this up to 5 times.
  • Choose a Background, or talk with the GM to make one for you.
  • For any equipment in random quantities, assume you have the minimum possible.

Combat Stances

On your turn, or at the end of round, you may change your stance. These only work in melee combat.

Normal Stance

No changes.

Aggressive Stance

When you land a hit, you deal +1 Damage without having to pushing your luck. However, you always lose ties.

Defensive Stance

Gain 1 point of Armour, but your attacks deal -1 Damage.

Reckless Stance

When you push your luck to deal more damage, on a success, deal +2 damage. On a failure, your opponent hits you instead.

Reactive Stance

When your opponent hits you, you may push your luck to hit them instead. On your turn, you must either Delay, or change your stance.

Montage

Use the initiative bag as usual. When you pull a chit, that player describes a detail. The montage ends when you pull the end of round chit.

Inner Turmoil

When you face your inner turmoil, make a Luck roll as normal. On a success, you hold steady. On a fail, you don’t.
